An applicant should look for a program that has an adequate volume and distribution of surgical and interventional procedures. That is, infra-renal aortic and thoracic stentgrafts, diagnostic and therapeutic peripheral interventions, open aortic reconstructions, infrainguinal bypass, and carotid-based procedures, including carotid stenting. Each program will have a different distribution as well as an increased participation in either open or endovascular treatments.
