Push to expand stent surgery for clogged arteries
WORCESTER – After Louis Prestes suffered a mini-stroke, his doctor told him the artery in his neck was 70 percent blocked with fatty plaque deposits and the likelihood of another, more serious stroke was high.

No clear evidence of this – including Gray’s Anatomy. . . Either there are external and internal carotid arteries on both sides of the neck, or one is on one side and it is on the other. It is logical to assume that combines the two, but this what I read, the circle of Willis, to name only the ICA. Or there are two circles?
