T_T;; Richard Zednik of the Flordia Panthers got a Skate to the carotid artery and nearly severed it (not jugular) in his throat from his teammate Olli Jokinen (after being “upended” Brian Campbell) in the third period of the Buffalo Sabres game at HSBC Arena on February 10, 2008. This is the goofy local news broadcast where they interview a bunch of silly Buffalo people & some concerned NHLers about it. Then they talked about how it reminded everyone about Clint Malarchuk. Sabres won 5-3.. but maybe they should have stopped the game XD;; In good news, the doctors performed surgery & he was in stable condition! *phew* The crowd gave him a standing ovation. Patient has neck pain and dizziness when lying on his left side. His doctor recommended surgery for carotid artery blockage but he refused. He has had pain in his joint for many years especially in both of his legs. He also has been experiencing heartburn and this usually occurs late at night. He also has been experiencing shoulder pain, mostly on his left side which radiates to his left arm. His vision and hearing has been a bothering him. He hears the ringing sounds in both of his ears frequently. After 3 NBe treatments, he can walk better, he no longer has any dizziness while lying on his left side, and his pain and heartburn are virtually gone.
